Why are Researchs on Social Movements Devalued by Psychologists?
Social movements is a topic psychologists scarcely investigate, even social psychologists. That is a fact. Furthermore, the theme is also devaluated by some other, as if it was an object of studies restricted to political scientists or sociologists.
Is this avoidance for researching social movements a ideological position drawn along the History of Psychology, or is it a political position due to the fallacious understanding that the huge groups are subjects to scientists or professionals other than psychologists?
I made this question on ResearchGate, give your answer and read others there: http://www.researchgate.net/post/Why_are_researchs_on_Social_Movements_devalued_by_psychologists.
